The main objective of this NIC Centre is:

       Development of necessary and appropriate Information Systems/data-base in various sectors.

       Promoting Informatics Culture at district level.

       Improving the analysis, capacity and quality presentation of statistics utilised for decision making / district planning.

      Ensuring reliable, timely and accurate information flow through NICNET.    

     Providing extensive training/re-training to Government Personnel and NIC Users.

      Supporting ICT solutions for e-Governance related projects.

      To serve as Internet Service Provider (ISP) to Govt. Depts. Through dial-up
